Now for a little trivia.  Hint:  This info could be useful in playing the games at the party, so read on!

Did you know I love animals?  I have six dogs, two cats and once owned a beautiful, white Tennessee Walking horse named, McCloud.

I love to garden, write and play with my three grandchildren (the oldest being 3).  Can we say exhausted!

Living in Louisiana, I enjoy being outside with nature at it’s best.  Loads of trees, flowers and mosquitoes. If you follow HBO’s True Blood, you know the corridor along Interstate 20 in north Louisiana is nicknamed “Sookie land” after the heroine in Charlene Harris’ books.  I live just north of the 1-20.

***

People ask me all the time, where I get the ideas for my characters.  These come from imagination, dreams and life around me.  The old adage which says, “be nice to me or you might end up in one of my books”, is absolutely true.

I take my writing seriously and do my best to put you, the reader, inside the pages of my books.  I want you to feel and understand what the characters are dealing with and why they respond the way they do.  You may recall in the first book of The Loflin Legacy series, Comanche Haven, Seth Loflin dealt with discovering the woman from his past was back and despite his best efforts someone wanted to steal her away.  In Casey’s Gunslinger, Seth plays a secondary character role and his story is told from two new and different viewpoints, Casey St. Clair and Charles Harrison’s.  I hope you’ll enjoy the overlap in the stories and be sure and read Comanche Haven first in order to see how the story unfolds more thoroughly in book 2, Casey’s Gunslinger.

You can get a copy of Comanche Haven, The Loflin Legacy series, #2 at all the major outlets including Amazon.  Click on the book cover to begin your journey into the Wild West with Catherine Wolffe.

It has been over a year since Part 3 – A Vampire on Vacation was published in July 2012.  Since then I have not released anything related to this series.  That’s a startling, and sobering fact, for me – even for my readers maybe– because for many months last year, I did not know if I’d return to writing this series.  I didn’t know if I’d keep writing at all.

With that being said, I have returned to the keyboard and will be releasing “The Vampire from Hell Returns (Part 4)” next month on Oct. 20th. (Join the Facebook Release Party.)  I’m very excited to continue Rayea’s story, at least for three more installments, and I’m delighted to say that, for bad or worse, I’m past the first obstacle I encountered during my first year of writing.  And I’m not looking back.  It may not always be smooth sailing from now on, but that’s okay because I’ll keep sailing.  I’m hoping many of you will join me for the ride.

This excerpt features Michael, the arch angel Rayea (vampire heroine) falls for. I based Michael’s character on Alexander Skarsgard of course. Enjoy! ~ally

A drop of blood from my busted lip landed on Michael’s white T-shirt.  I groaned with pleasure.

“When was the last time you fed this vampire?” Michael asked.

Hearing the word ‘vampire,’ my attention snapped back to Michael’s face, and I snarled at him.  I wanted to devour this angel in my sights.

“You’ve got some long fangs there, Vampire.  What are those?  An inch and a half, maybe two?”  Michael managed a small, tentative smile despite the threat I posed.316796_250841628301339_240931305959038_771410_1598242809_n

I watched his every move, ready to strike, but feeling a force hold me back.  “Blood,” I replied.  I could hear it pumping in his veins, through his temples, and down the side of his neck.  His pulse reminded me of the waves slamming against the rocks.  An image of my rocking in his lap to that rhythmic dance surfaced in my mind, riding him, grinding against him over and over until…  To have him inside me, I thought.

The voice inside my head said, “Grab your popcorn!  This is gonna be good!

“Rayea, please calm down,” Blick interjected as he carefully approached us.  “We can’t make a scene.”

“I think it’s a little late for that,” Michael said.

“What do we do?” Blick asked him.

“I told you she needs blood.”

I nodded, staring at Michael.  Yes, she does, I thought.  That and a lot more.

The voice inside my head asked, “She needs blood!  Why did we not think of that before?

“You’re right.  God, I’m an idiot!  I’m the worst guardian angel ever!” Blick exclaimed, throwing up his hands.  “But she can’t have mine or yours for that matter.  J won’t approve it.”  He collapsed in a chair, behind Michael, shaking his head.  “Rayea, I’ve failed you.”

Michael looked over at him.  “Get a grip, man.  We move to Plan B.  Grab those items and I’ll take her to the living room.”

“Tasssty,” I hissed and smacked my lips when I witnessed Michael’s adam’s apple showing as he leaned his head back to speak to Blick.

Cautiously returning his attention to me, Michael said, “Look into my eyes.” The warmth of his smile echoed in his voice.  I stared at him, mesmerized by the ocean-blue color of his eyes.  Instantly, I felt relaxed, sane, and willing to submit to his will.

Great, the vampire is going googoo for the angel.

Shut up, I snapped at the voice inside my head.  He’s adorable. I sighed and returned his smile.

“If this doesn’t work, you can ask Gabriel to help out,” Michael said to Blick.

“Not funny,” Blick said.

Michael shrugged.  Sweeping me off the table, he gathered me in his arms and announced, “Let’s do this.”

Without any resistance, I floated into the living room as the angel carried me.  Isn’t he dreamy? I thought.

The voice inside my head responded, “You better latch your mouth around something on that angel or I will!

Michael positioned me on the large, comfy leather couch.  He was talking to me, but I didn’t pay any attention.  I was fascinated with the movement of his arms, the way his neck curved from side to side as he and Blick conversed.  I looked at Blick, and then Michael many times as I admired how both angels were attractive in their own right.  Were all angels beautiful? I wondered.  The roar of the ocean called me and I let the feeling pull me under into a heavenly bliss.

About Ally Thomas

It’s Live! Randi Fang’s second erotic vampire confession interview is live on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She provided a couple of excerpts below for you to explore. (The second one is seriously hot!)

About Tasted (Erotic Vampire Confessions #2)

In Tasted, I was tasked with a spontaneous interview that I didn’t want to deal with. Since my translator, Sim had already volunteered me for the task, I had to proceed with interviewing a vampire couple who were on the run because the newly turned female, Amelia had killed a demon, one of the seven Princes of Hell.

Desire (Erotic Vampire Confessions #1) by Randi FangDesire_1_EVC_alt2

If you haven’t checked out the first story, Desire (Erotic Vampire Confessions #1), you can download it for FREE at the following links: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

In “Desire,” Randi Fang explores this subject what makes a vampire tick with her first vampire to interview, a fan of the fang whom Randi calls simply Rose. Rose has a chance encounter with an actor who plays a vampire and discovers he’s “into” being bitten.

Excerpt from “Tasted”

Interview by Randi Fang with Amelia and Damon, both vampires, madly in love, and on the run.  Recorded May 2, 2013 at an undisclosed location.

Max and I sat for a very long time on the hood of my Porsche SUV.  I knew the two vampires were in the woods, but they didn’t want to appear.  When midnight rolled around and the full moon surfaced behind the night clouds, I knew we’d probably get to meet them.  I drove the vehicle closer to the trees, parking it with the headlights facing out towards the clearing.  We’d be able to see any presence if a demon showed up.  I knew this forest well because I had used it many times for my hunts.  It had a large ravine at the other end.  No demon would climb rocks to make a surprise appearance.  Demons were lazy and not especially bright.

I jumped out of the SUV and opened the front and back passenger doors.  Then I returned to the vehicle.  “Max,” I said as I left my driver door open.  “Get out and stand here by me.  If you smell anything weird, nudge me.  Okay?”

He did as I requested with little hesitancy, glancing back at me with his gleaming gold eyes.

I turned off the engine and the headlights.  The moon was shining, so there was some light illuminating us.  I sighed with relief.  Let’s do this, I thought to myself.  I couldn’t count the creepy ways I had met vampires for interviews.  Some could be as human as the next person, meeting in a bar or coffee shop.  Others, the really old ones, were downright weird.  Ancient, I thought.  That’s what it is.  They don’t know better.  “We need to do this people,” I said to the night.

I saw an image flash out of the corner of my eye.  Someone had hopped into the front passenger seat.  Then another weight shifted the SUV and I felt the back passenger seat fill with a presence.

“Randi?” a male voice asked.

“Yes,” I replied, feeling an overwhelming draw to his masculinity.  He was indeed a vampire, not a demon.  I breathed in slowly.  Dear lord, what have I gotten myself into.

“Sim said you could help us.”

I nodded, not moving my hands from the steering wheel.  I had learned vampires could be very jumpy if they were as panicked as I sensed these two were.  The male sitting next to me seemed very protective.  Very protective.  It flowed off of him in waves.  The female was clearly shaken, confused, and a new vampire.

“Show your fangs please,” the male vampire commanded.

I did as he requested.  The blood flamed in my veins and I felt an immediate attraction to this man without even seeing him yet.  I had heard some vampires possessed a heightened sex appeal, and this guy had it in droves.  Trying to forget a feeling of nakedness that was washing over me, I let my fangs remain visible.  Let’s do this, I shouted in my mind, wondering if the vampire could hear me.  My patience was growing very thin.  We were either going to talk or I was going to jump the man’s bones as the newbie vampire girl could watch.  I exhaled again slowly.  My blood smoothie was just kicking in.

Excerpt from Amelia’s Confession (as part of her interview with Randi) – FOR MATURE READERS ONLY 18+

“What will they do to us if we are caught?”

His brown eyes glazed over.  He turned his attention to my disarrayed dress and gently smoothed the wrinkles away, refusing to answer.

I can fight any demon who gets in my way,” I snapped.

Slowly he moved his hands, giving me a low grunt of disbelief.

As I flattened out the ruffles in my lap, I marveled at how warm his touch was, how satisfying and soothing.

They’ll kill us both if we don’t escape soon enough.

As Damon paused in front of me, I asked him mentally, “So we have to have sex first, you meet your father, and then we can leave.”

Yes,” he replied.  Then he yelled for the others’ benefit, “Get this dress off bitch, my cock can’t wait forever.  Fucking whore of a human.”

He chuckled again, this time with a sincerity he had lacked before.  He glanced at me and winked, pointing at the door.  Then a deadly passion surface in his eyes.  He sighed loudly.  “Are you ready,” he whispered tenderly.

After a few moments, I waited for his next move.  His disposition was unpredictable and I didn’t know if he was going to kiss me on the forehead or break me in half.

“Remove your dress,” he commanded.

Before I could undress, Damon pulled out his large cock, grunting as he began stroking it quickly.  I watched in fear.  Was he going to plunge that thing inside me?  Damon spread his legs, leaning into his strokes and continued jacking himself off.  Suddenly he stopped and approached me.  He pushed his hands pass my dress and found the folds of my pussy.  With one hand, he continued to stroke his cock.  With the other, he fingered me, only stopping now and then to run his wet fingers over the head of his cock.  Damon grunted and growled as he rocked, crouched before me.  His eyes turned blood red as his head fell forward from pleasure, and then he would continue his stroking, getting faster each time.

He was already hard when he had presented himself to me, so I didn’t understand why he was taking the time to increase his erection.  Obviously he did.  And I wasn’t complaining.  Suddenly I was thrilled to watch him.  He was a sight to behold.  No men I knew would be so bold as to touch themselves, much less excite themselves to mind-maddening delights.  It was an exquisitely delightful, yet sinister scene.

Suddenly a vision of having him inside me surfaced.  My jaw dropped open and my stomach flip-flopped.  I remained sitting on the bed as I unzipped the back of my dress and slid it over my shoulders.  When he stood up in front of me, his cock was as hard as glass.  It nearly hit me in the face.  I marveled at its width, its length.  My god, I thought.  Now that’s a vampire.  On the bed, I froze forgetting what I was doing, forgetting I was almost completely nude before this magnificent vampire.

He growled and ripped my dress away in one yank.  Damon took my hands in his and placed them on his cock.  My eyes grew wide and I relished the smoothness of his rod.  He was hard as steel, yet smooth as velvet.

Excerpt from “Love Begins in Hell (The Moon Journals: Part 1)

As the large figure came into view, I exited the closet, took aim and threw the first knife of several across the room. I stood behind the massive bed, using it as a bunker. This demon was not going to take me alive.

The figure grunted, slumping slightly to the ground.

I heard the weapon I had thrown at him fall to the floor.

My aim was bad and had not found the demon’s heart. I was at a great disadvantage. “You stay back, demon!” I shouted, hoping to sound far more threatening than I’m sure I appeared to be. “I’ve got more where that came from!” I was maybe one hundred pounds. Cold, scared, and weak from hunger, I was half of that I was sure. Or at least I felt like that. Adrenaline and self-preservation would have to see me through.

“Do your worst,” the tall figure announced. “However, I’d like to ask if I may turn on a few lights before you continue your attack. If you don’t mind?”

He mocked me, which should have infuriated me even more, but I held my position and watched as he illuminated the room. He flipped a few switches by the door frame, and the room took on a blue hue as if it had been bathed in the soft, gentle lights from beneath the sea.

I looked up at the ceiling just as the wooden beams filed away to two corners. “How did you do that?” I gasped, forgetting my defensive stance all together.

“I can’t handle fluorescent lighting, so I had these installed. Blue and green are my favorite colors actually, even though I wear a lot of black. Here let me show you one more thing. I just had this done.”

He raised his well-toned arm upwards and pressed a button at the top of the door frame.

I blinked my eyes several times, getting used to the various colors I saw forming on the ceiling. An image was being constructed.

The lighted design was magnificent and astounded me. A variety of shades of blue, green, and purple illuminated behind the picture of a fierce dragon. The dragon, with its head held high and proud, stood on a set of rocks jutting out from the edge of a cliff. A strong image of a strong creature preparing for battle. Why would a demon have such an image promoting such a great warrior animal like the dragon fashioned on the ceiling of his bedroom? It didn’t make sense.

“I’ve never seen anything like it. Is that you?”

“More or less. My friend, Orlando created it and installed it for me. I’m not really an admirer of art or paintings. I’m more interested in books, mythology really, but Orlando thought this would dress up my bedroom. I mainly like it for the quiet motivation it gives me. Each day is a test and it challenges me to focus on what is important. It helps me remember, despite everything, who I could one day become.”

“A dragon?” I blurted out. “Surely you don’t mean that. You’re a demon.” I had never heard of demons being shapeshifters. This guy had as much chance of shifting into a dragon as I did of shifting into a bar of chocolate.

Instantly he crossed the room towards me. He had his large hands wrapped around my elbows before I could grab another knife. I was pinned against his solid chest. The minute our eyes met, a bolt of lightning felt like it had ricocheted through my body. My eyes widened as he let me go and I wrapped my arms tightly around my body, so I wouldn’t fall. He staggered for a moment too as if he’d been hit by the same burst of energy.

The immediate recognition of a soul mate was something that did not occur outside the pack. It had to be a mistake. But was it? It felt so real. In that second, I re-evaluated my course of action.

“I’m not a demon. I’m a warrior,” he replied as he put some distance between us. “My mother is human, so I’m only half-demon.” He retreated to the table and sat down. He remained quiet for some time. Finally he added, “If you must know, I prefer to be called a warrior above all else.”

I thought about asking a second question like ‘Who kidnapped me?’ but I remained silent. It didn’t really matter as long as I found my sister and aunt, and we made it out. They had been missing for weeks. I had heard of a demon mating with a human and bearing a shape-shifting child, but I didn’t think it was possible. Just a myth. Werewolves were the only shapeshifters I knew of. My disbelief in his dragon warrior dream seemed to have gravely offended him, and I didn’t want to upset him again. Instead, I wanted to comfort him. Why would I want to do that? He was the enemy. I opted to be nice. My sassy attitude would get me nowhere with him.

“I like the ceiling painting,” I offered.

“Thank you. It’s very nice, isn’t it?”

“Do you have a name?” I abruptly stopped before I insulted him again.

“Dante.”

I waited for him to ask my name. He studied the table instead.

“I’m Elana.”

“Elana.” He repeated my name slowly and carefully as if it was a foreign word he didn’t want to forget.

“Your name is very unique.” A few compliments couldn’t hurt. “What does Dante mean?”

“I’ve never thought to look it up. I don’t know.”

I watched as he drew a few curves and lines along the table, absent-mindedly tracing something. “If my memory serves me right, I think Dante means protector.”

He grunted.

Knowing I’d probably upset him again if I said it too loud, I mumbled under my breath as I attempted to process the realization. “Dante, the demon protector. Wasn’t that an oxymoron?”

“No, it isn’t,” he answered. “You forget. I have excellent hearing too. You don’t have to insult me. What does your name mean?”

I threw the second knife flew and watched as it slammed into the wooden table, a few inches from his hands.

He didn’t flinch one inch.

“Freedom,” I announced as I swiftly bent over to retrieve another knife lying on the bed.

“Well that’s good. Freedom for Elana. I like that.” There was a trace of laughter in his voice. He paused for a moment before he continued. “I’m sure you do too.” A few more moments of silence passed, then finally he said, “I know this is highly unorthodox, and you’re in an extremely frightening situation. But before we go any further, I want to put your mind at ease. I’m not interested in harming you. I know you are a werewolf and probably of great importance to your people. I’m going to try to get you out of here, but you’re going to have to trust me. It’s as simple as that. Do you think you can do that?” He yanked the knife from the table and with an ironically tender touch, he bent the blade into a slight arch, disabling it so it couldn’t be used for another but holding a bunch of grapes or large orange. I swallowed hard so my mouth wouldn’t fall open. This demon could kill me in an instant.

Suddenly a vision from my wolf state hit me. I recognized his voice. I’ll help you get out of here, but you’ve got to trust me. I closed my eyes and relived the moment again. Over and over again, that voice. A ripple of awareness surged through me. His voice was the same as the man who had come to me to console me in my agitated wolf state. It was deep, almost sensual, yet tranquil and protective. This demon before me had calmed me. “The wolf chant. That was you?”

“Yes.”

“What did you say?”

He paused for a moment, digging his long nail into the wood of the table.  “You were very upset.”

“What did you say?”

“That’s not really important, is it?”

“I insist,” I replied with my polite tone I used when I wanted it to be known I expected to get what I sought.

He chuckled.  His laugh was low and throaty.  “I’ve seen pomp and circumstance from my father.  You don’t have to take that tone with me.  There is no need for us to be enemies.”

I attempted to soften my insistence.  “I’m sorry.  Please then.”

“Don’t apologize.  Let’s keep this on a level playing field.  I’ll treat you as an equal, and you treat me as one.  Okay?”

His confidence was infectious.  He didn’t have the disposition of a demon at all.  My aunt had said they were horrible creatures with no feeling, no remorse, and no compassion for others.

“Fair enough,” I whispered, only realizing a second later that I had not fully enunciated the words.  Clearly this young man had not kidnapped me so why was I in his presence?  Did he know who had kidnapped me?  Maybe he could lead me to the person?  Equals?  Why would he say we were equals?  My father, the Werewolf King, certainly didn’t think like that.  Dante’s words and actions of kindness and hospitality thoroughly confused me.  As a sign of good faith, I placed the weapons down before me on the bed, noticing in passing the letter ‘D’ carved into the blade of each knife.

“A beauty like no other.  So beautiful.  Calm yourself.  Calm yourself, my sweet.  I’m not going to let anyone hurt you.”

“I’m sorry?  What did you say?”

Dante repeated his words for my benefit.  “A beauty like no other.  So beautiful.  Calm yourself.  Calm yourself, my sweet.  I’m not going to let anyone hurt you.”

No demon would know how to practice Wolfen Magic,” I replied.  I observed his new nervousness.  His mood had shifted, and he refused to look at me as he continued to scratch at the table.

“I’m not a demon.  I’m a warrior.”  He glanced at the ceiling, looking again at the lighted design of the dragon.  “I thought we covered that?”  His tone was very gentle even though I saw the muscles in his jaw twitch a few times.

“Dante, the protector, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” I curtsied, trying to appear more of a lady than I felt as well as lighten the mood.

Catherine Wolffe Releases ‘Waking Up Dead’

Waking Up DeadFellow werewolf fan, Catherine Wolffe is on our blog today. I’d like to thank her for taking the time to stop by  to introduce her new book in The Western Werewolf Legend Series.  We sat down and she was gracious enough to give us a sneak peek into the book and answer a few questions. And yes, if you’re a Jimmy Thomas fan, that’s him on the cover 😀 Yummy!

Start the Western Werewolf Legend for Free

But first, I’d like to let you guys know that you can start Catherine’s series for Free at Smashwords. She has the first few chapters of Book 1 included. Click here to download from Smashwords. Click here to download from Amazon.

Also I’d like to thank Catherine for being on my blog and for letting ME select the excerpt for this article. She’s a talented and confident writer and I just love this series! I’m starting Book 2 this week and it’s just as good as Book 1. We thought it would be a fun idea to change things up a bit. I hope you like the excerpt from Chapter 1 of Waking Up Dead.

Your upcoming book is part of The Western Werewolf Legend series.  Can you tell us about Waking up Dead?

I’d love to, Victoria.  Waking up Dead is the second book in the Western Werewolf Legend.  The setting is 1864 and the civil war is dragging on.  Sonja Brooks, a Pennsylvania widow has fallen in love with Tyler Loflin, a Rebel soldier.  She embraces her wolf while he does his best to protect her from the vampires searching for her.  With a sharp-tongued witch and a werewolf god as mentors, Sonja and Ty set out to right injustices and save the innocent.

My main characters, Sonja Brooks and Tyler Loflin struggle with the ‘gift’ and the danger that faces them as werewolves with special powers.  Sonja’s blood is coveted by vampires because it allows them to walk in the daylight.  She’s shared her blood with Tyler in order to heal wounds he sustained in battle and so his blood is sought after as well.

How did you come up with the title?

The danger these two new werewolves face could mean their end at any time.  Then with a story twist, you find out the title has more teeth than at first assumed.

Will there be a third book in the series?

Yes, I have a third book planned.

Is there anything you’d like to say to your readers?

I appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy Waking up Dead.  I’d love to hear what you think.

Do you have a favorite chapter or passage you’d like to share?

I have several scenes that I enjoyed writing, however, here’s one I think we can all relate to, even if we’re not werewolves in love.

The following excerpt is from Chapter 3 – For the Sake of Brothers in Arms

Suddenly, an almost discernible ripple in the water had Sonja’s eyes opening and a soft gasp leaving her lips.  Ty’s hands surrounded her waist in the water, pulling her close.  He stood beside her naked and aroused against her back and buttocks.  The delirious sensation of desire warmed her as he made sure their bodies came together making her aware of him all along her length.  His pride swelled with their combined heat and she moaned aloud with pleasure.  “You certainly know how to make an entrance, Lieutenant.”

She turned to him as he grinned that wolfish grin of his, which had every nerve in her body going on high alert.  Her attraction to this man could not be denied, nor could she deny how much she cared for him and wanted desperately to protect him.  Even if his male ego wouldn’t recognize her efforts.  After making love at night, Sonja would lie awake as her exhausted brain tried desperately to devise a way to keep him safe.  He may have feelings for her, but this mess wasn’t of his making.  He didn’t deserve to endure the hardships dumped upon him.

Ty lowered his head and captured her lips bringing her attentions back to focus on the man.

“My woman is thinking again, I see.”  He nipped her bottom lip before switching his attentions to her earlobe followed by the tender skin along her neck.

“Of late, I think a lot.  Still, I can’t find the answers.”  She dropped her head back as his tongue lingered near her collarbone.  His teeth found the taste of her enticing.  Before she could object, he’d taken her mouth again in a kiss more forceful than the first.  Scorching her with its intensity, branding her with its fire, the kiss drove Sonja to do no more than stand, unable to move in the sizzling heat of his embrace.

“You needn’t worry about answers.  They will come.”  Ty’s breath, warm and moist on her skin shoved rational thoughts to the back of the line as he traced the swell of one wet breast to the taut peak.  The sensation of his mouth on her flesh, nursing her nipple tugged at her coherency.  Soon the pull on her womb from his attentions brought a creamy warmth to pool between her legs.  Lax with desire, Sonja held on with everything she had left.  “Have you finished your bath, my lady?”

The question seemed rhetorical to Sonja.  “If I wasn’t, would it matter?” she chided.  Wanting to prick his conscience, she ran a slim, damp finger along the bridge of his perfectly straight Choctaw nose.  “You sir aren’t behaving like a gentleman.  What’s a poor defenseless girl to do?”

“Well, since you ask, I can think of a thing or two she could do.”  Without another word, he scooped her up and sloshed out of the water.  Sonja considered he would deposit her on the bank and allow her to get dressed.

She was wrong.  Instead, Ty carried her further from the water’s edge before gently laying her back on a blanket she hadn’t realized was there.  Under the cover of a great old oak tree, he stretched out beside her and used his shirt to dry her limbs before throwing the voluminous dress she had taken off over them both as protection from anyone who should happen upon them.

Her body hummed with anticipation as he ran his long, lean hand slowly down her slight curves to the crisp hair of her mound.  Unable to take her eyes off his profile, Sonja’s breath caught in a surge of yearning so abrupt and intense it felt like pain.

“Ah, my woman wants me, I wager.  You’ve missed me while I was gone?”  His voice had gone low with desire.  Slipping two fingers inside the heat of her need, Ty stroked steadily.

Sonja could have floated on such a whisper-thin cloud of sensation forever.  No one had ever made her feel like this man did.  Certainly not her first husband, Robert, rest his dead soul.  Sex had been merely a means to an end with him, nothing to compare to this dissent into paradise with Ty.

“Tell me, Sonja, did you miss me?  I want to hear the words.”  The thinly veiled passion in his eyes stirred her longing to new heights as he worked a third finger inside her.  Sonja felt her muscles tighten as desire warmed her to the core.

“Yes, I missed you so much.”  Reaching up, she sank her hand into his long dark hair, which was still damp from the stream.  “Please, Ty.  I want you inside me.”

“Soon, Sonja, soon.  But first, I want to taste you.  I want to capture your need and drink you in like wine.”  His mouth grazed her nipple as his fingers continued their onslaught.

Sonja arched with the contact of his mouth on her breast.  The tug of his mouth sent her spiraling down into a world where only need and desire reigned supreme.  Any other thoughts vanished into oblivion.

Grazing his jaw against her stomach as he traveled lower, he growled low in his throat.  “Um, this is what a man wants to come home to.”

EXCERPT from Redemption (The following excerpt is for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY)

He smiled at me smugly and focused his attention on my hips. I followed his gaze. He wrapped both of his hands around mine as I held his cock against my naked belly. He stroked my hands, and then opening up the palms of his large hands, he quietly encouraged me to assume the task. When I took charge, he mumbled, “You’re stronger than you think.”

A fever of blushes covered my face. “Oh my goodness, did I hurt you?” I wanted to blush again, but his declaration, that he felt something quite literally when he had met me surfaced in my mind and sent me into oblivion. True love. I gazed up at him, marveling at the look of pleasure on his face. True love.

He moaned and rocked his hips gently into my hands.

I rubbed the head of his cock with my thumb, feeling a sweet stickiness at the tip.

Raphael moved his hand between my thighs and rubbed my clit, his fingers pumping inside me a few times.

My hips met his movements and I groaned, feeling the warmth of his manhood slide between my legs.

“I don’t want to control these feelings I have for you.” He gathered me up in his arms. “I don’t know where they came from. Maybe it was the wolf chant that did it. I don’t know for sure, but I know I feel this.”

A slight smile crossed his lips. He embraced me tightly and then picked me up in his arms.

I placed my hand over his heart. “True love,” I whispered as the words expelled out of my mouth in the form of a few short breaths. Could it be?

“This can’t be wrong, Caroline. I don’t want to deny the possibility of the love we can have. Say you agree?”

“I think I already love you, Raphael. I’ve never known anyone like you. You’re a glorious, magnificent vampire.”

When I felt his easing himself into me, my body melted. “Oh my god, yes,” I cried out. “Yes! Yes!” Wanting to increase our pace, I started to ride him with a newborn intensity. The warmth of his blood raced through my veins. “I’m yours,” I cried out. “I’m yours!”

“Shh,” he said. “Don’t listen to my blood. I don’t want you to be my servant or blood source. Equal.” With his muscular arms, he brought me up and down a time or two, shifting the rhythm of lovemaking to a slower urgency. “I want us to be equals. I want to cherish this moment forever. I want to look in your eyes as I’m inside you and know if we are never to be together again we had this one moment, out here in this wasteland.”
